Accessible Home Remodeling (AHR) has earned its reputation for quality, service and value. We welcome the opportunity to construct an aesthetically enriching, barrier-free living environment that is safe and accessible, which gives our client the opportunity to age in place independently. Our goal is to recreate your environment to suit you and increase the flexibility and ease of your lifestyle. At AHR we offer a comprehensive remodeling and/or installation service. We are dedicated to ensure you are completely satisfied with your increased independence.
The NAHB Remodelers Council, in collaboration with the AARP, NAHB Research Center and NAHB 50+ Housing Council developed the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) program to provide comprehensive, information about working with older and maturing adults to remodel their homes for aging-in-place.
Accessible Home Remodeling (AHR) was founded by Larry and Mary Hume due to a personal genuine concern for individuals with special needs and the aging. The Hume Family has been in the construction business since 1974. Larry is a native Tucsonan. AHR is a licensed, bonded and insured business within the state of Arizona. We are also Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).
We blend our trade skills with help and compassion from a health care provider when necessary.
